What all plans include:

  • Full hosting on EU servers.
  • GDPR-compliant contracts, joint responsibility (Art. 26 GDPR).
  • Audit log for legal compliance.
  • Access to the platform's training bot.
  • Platform updates and security patches.

Plan 1 — Starter (29 EUR Early-Bird)

Who Starter is perfect for

  • Individual creators with a single topic bot.
  • Private individuals who want to make their personal knowledge retrievable.
  • Mini SaaS with an FAQ bot for a single product.
  • Testers who want to try Zeptix with low risk first.

What Starter really can do

  • One bot at slug.zeptix.io.
  • 10 MB knowledge base — that corresponds to about 100–150 pages of text (PDFs are smaller than pure TXT files, so often even 50–80 PDF pages are possible).
  • 5,000 credits/month — about 1,500 fast standard answers or ~500 reasoning answers.
  • Standard models (Groq-based) — fast, sufficient for FAQ and onboarding bots.
  • Answer length up to about 2,300 words per answer.
  • Branding: logo, primary color, welcome message, Zeptix subdomain.
  • Bot can be made available for free — no monetization via end-user credits.

Starter limits that matter

  • No custom domain — your bot stays on slug.zeptix.io.
  • No monetization via end-user credits. If your visitors should pay, you need Pro.
  • No reasoning models for complex answers. If your bot needs multi-step logic (calculations, comparisons, long-chain reasoning), upgrade to Pro.

When Starter becomes too small

You'll notice it's time for Pro when:

  • You need a second bot (DE/EN separation, second product, separate target groups).
  • You want your own domain (chat.yourcompany.com instead of just a subdomain).
  • You want to make money with the bot.
  • Your 5,000 credits/month are regularly empty before the end of the month.
  • You need longer, more demanding answers.

Plan 2 — Pro (69 EUR Early-Bird)

Who Pro is perfect for

  • Creators with community monetization (e.g. premium coaching bot).
  • SaaS providers with several products or DE/EN separation.
  • Knowledge base providers who want to offer a premium tier of their content as a bot.
  • Owners who need a custom domain for professional branding.

What Pro can additionally do

  • 3 bots instead of 1 — DE/EN bots, multiple products, or a test/prod setup.
  • 50 MB knowledge base in total — distributable across all bots.
  • 15,000 credits/month — about 4,500 standard answers or ~1,500 reasoning answers.
  • Reasoning models — for more complex answers, comparisons, multi-step logic.
  • Custom domain per bot (e.g. chat.yourcompany.com).
  • Zeptix-first monetization: visitors buy credit packs or Pro plans. Zeptix handles Stripe checkout, receipt, refund, chargeback. You receive partner compensation on qualifying purchases after payout/KYC approval.
  • Promotions, gifts, end-user credits: for marketing campaigns, gift codes, free-trial drips.
  • Extended analytics: user behavior, top questions, answer latency, model distribution.
  • Answer length up to about 3,000 words per answer.

Pro limits that matter

  • No own API keys — model costs go through Zeptix credits, you do not pay a direct LLM provider.
  • No white-label — the "Powered by Zeptix" notice remains visible in the bot footer.
  • No Business-Direct — you do not sell your own Stripe products with your own Stripe account.

When Pro becomes too small

Upgrading to Business makes sense when:

  • You want to bill your own provider costs (sensible from ~30,000 visitor requests/month).
  • You need white-label (agency setup for clients).
  • You want to sell your own Stripe products with your own tax responsibility.
  • You want to integrate the bot into an existing B2B pricing model (your own SLAs).

Plan 3 — Business (249 EUR Early-Bird)

Who Business is perfect for

  • Agencies that run bots for clients (white-label setup).
  • Companies with a clear own brand that do not want to see "Powered by Zeptix".
  • High-traffic bots where your own API keys are cheaper than Zeptix credits.
  • Bot owners with B2B sales who sell their own Stripe products at their own prices.

What Business can additionally do

  • 5 bots under one account.
  • 200 MB knowledge base in total.
  • 50,000 credits/month — about 15,000 standard answers or ~5,000 reasoning answers.
  • Premium auto-routing to the respective best available models (Claude Sonnet/Opus, Gemini Pro, Groq).
  • Own API keys for Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini can be stored — your traffic goes directly to your provider accounts, Zeptix only takes the platform fee.
  • White-label: the "Powered by Zeptix" notice can optionally be deactivated.
  • Business-Direct: you sell your own Stripe products with your own Stripe Connect account. You handle taxes, refunds, chargebacks, KYC yourself.
  • Own email sending with your domain (DKIM, SPF configurable).
  • DE/EN presence of the bot automatically depending on the visitor's browser locale.
  • Answer length up to about 6,000 words per answer.

Mind the Business responsibility

Whoever activates Business-Direct takes on:

  • Own pricing and own refund policy.
  • Own provider costs — when choosing your own API keys.
  • Tax obligations for your own products (VAT, reverse charge for EU B2B, Stripe Tax configuration).
  • KYC via Stripe Connect (Standard/Express, depending on the setup).
  • Chargeback risk for your own products.

In Business-Direct mode, Zeptix only takes a platform fee (proportional per transaction), not the full revenue. Details → Zeptix-first vs Business-Direct.

Common plan questions

Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?

Yes. Every plan is cancelable monthly. On an upgrade, all data (bots, knowledge base, branding) moves with you. On a downgrade, surplus bots are automatically paused (not deleted). On cancellation, your data stays in the grace period for 30 days and is then fully deleted (data export possible at any time).

What happens when I reach my credit limit?

At 80% credit usage you get a warning by email. At 100% the bot stops with a polite "credits used up" message. You then have three options:

  • Buy a refill pack (5k, 20k, 50k credits — see the pay-as-you-go tier).
  • Activate auto-recharge in the dashboard under Billing — credits are automatically topped up.
  • Upgrade to the next plan (data moves with you).

Can I test Pro for just one month and then go back to Starter?

Yes. There is no minimum term. If you try Pro and notice that Starter is enough: simply downgrade. Your third bot is automatically paused (not deleted — you can reactivate it when upgrading again).

Are the Early-Bird prices permanent?

As long as your subscription runs: yes. The Early-Bird discount is permanently secured for existing subscriptions. If you cancel and come back later, the then-current prices apply.

Are there discounts for annual plans?

Zeptix currently runs exclusively as a monthly subscription. Annual plans are on the roadmap, not yet live.
