Your community grows, your mods don't.
Rules, FAQs, whitelist, events, patch notes. zep is the mod who never sleeps, always stays polite and guides new members through onboarding — on Discord, Telegram, in your forum or right on your website.

Mod burnout is real
The same questions, every day
How do I get whitelisted? How do I load the mod pack? When's the next event? Mods type their fingers raw because nobody reads the pinned post.
Onboarding drags
New members come in, see nobody, get no answer and are gone again after three minutes. A 24/7 welcome would be worth its weight in gold.
Rules go unread
You have a beautiful rules page. Nobody reads it. When someone asks, mods have to explain it from memory. The result: inconsistent answers.
Mods relieved, community happy
Mods do mod work again
zep handles the routine questions. Mods take care of the cases that genuinely need attention, empathy or escalation.
Onboarding works at night too
New members get an answer instantly. Whether it's 2 AM or the Asian timeshift. That's the difference between staying and leaving.
Clear, consistent answers
zep always answers from the same sources — nobody has to guess what the official interpretation of a rule is. That reduces disputes measurably.
What zep can do in communities
Rule interpretation
Explains rules, consequences and exceptions from your rules doc. Gives clear answers instead of a brush-off — and links the original source.
Onboarding walkthrough
Welcomes new members, explains channels, roles, voice etiquette. Optionally with interactive step-by-step setup for more complex servers.
Events & schedules
Answers questions about events, streams, patches, AMAs. Reads straight from your Discord pin or Notion calendar.
Whitelist & application routing
Clarifies application requirements up front so mods only see finished applications. Cuts the back-and-forth by 80 percent.
Patch notes & updates
What changed in the last update? zep reads your patch notes and answers on substance — not just a link.
Discord, Telegram, web
Embedded in a Discord channel, as a Telegram bot, as a widget on your website. They all use the same knowledge base.
Typical community questions
These questions come up in every community, every day, from every new member. zep answers them without mod intervention.
- How do I get whitelisted for the server?
- Where do I find the current mod pack?
- When is the next stream scheduled?
- Which role do I need to request for the builder channels?
- How do I report a rule violation?
- What changed in the last patch?
- Is there documentation for bot commands?

Mods set escalation

Common questions from community operators
Can zep answer directly in Discord?
Yes. zep is added as a Discord app and answers either via slash command, via mention or in dedicated bot channels. You decide where it's active.
What if someone asks provocatively or trolls?
zep is trained on politeness and source-based answers — it doesn't react to provocation. You can set topic filters so certain questions escalate straight to mods instead of being answered by the bot.
Does zep have access to private member data?
No. zep only reads the content you explicitly give it (pins, FAQs, rules). Private messages, member lists or personal data are not processed — GDPR by design.
Does this also work for Telegram or forums?
Yes. The same knowledge base can be served simultaneously on Discord, Telegram, a forum plugin and your website. Answers stay consistent everywhere.
Do I still need my own mods?
Absolutely. zep takes routine questions off your plate but doesn't replace human conflict resolution, enforcement or community building. Mods become more productive, not redundant.
